List of Gifts for 3 Year Olds

My granddaughter’s 3rd birthday was Monday.  Time sure does fly!  This list of gifts for 3 year olds is a list of items that I was looking at purchasing for her birthday and things that I did purchase.  Some things are more for girls, but a lot of them are for girls and boys.  I hope you will find this list helpful if you are shopping for a special three year old in your life!

BASS & BASS CHILD’S MUSICAL BOX

(I didn’t buy this for Hadley’s birthday, maybe I will get it for Christmas, though!)

Woodstock Kid’s Accordion- Music Collection

(I want to get Hadley one of these!)

Hohner Kids Beginner Harmonica

(I want to get her one of these, too, but haven’t yet.)

Step2 All Around Playtime Patio with Canopy Playhouse

(This looks really fun!  I wish I had unlimited funds to purchase everything fun!)

KidKraft Grocery Marketplace

(This would be a great place to store food for kitchen set, too)

Graco Room Full Of Fun

(I didn’t get this for her birthday, but will probably get it for Christmas.  Hadley loves playing with her babies!)

Noodleboro Picnic Basket Manners Game

(This looks like a perfect teaching game!)

ALEX Toys Picnic Basket

(Hadley has really begun using her imagination.  I know she would enjoy playing with this picnic basket.)

My Very First Tea Party Board book – January 1, 2000

(I am ready for some speacial tea parties with Hadley and Mason!  I did get this book along with the tea set below.)

ALEX Toys Tin Tea Set

(This is such a cute little set.  I think it will be a Christmas gift too!  Hadley got this teas set for Christmas.  Hadley and Mason have enjoyed playing tea party with it!  We have had fun tea parties with baby dolls and stuffed animals!  We have had to add some small paper cups to share our tea with all the animals!)

Toysmith My Sweet Baby Magic Baby Bottles

(Hadley got these for her birthday.  They are so cute!  It appears that the baby has drunk all of milk/juice and you turn it over and it instantly refills.  Too bad real bottles can’t do that!)

Melissa & Doug Role Play Collection – Step In Style! Dress-Up Shoes Set (4 Pairs)

(Hadley got these from her Aunt Pam.  She loves running around in her heels.  Hadley loved the slippers that came with this set too.  She even wore those when she left to go to her other grandma’s house.)

Great Gift Ideas!

“It’s My Year” Child’s Birthday Pendant Necklace in Cake Gift Box

(I love this necklace!!  It is a necklace with a number 3 on it.  We didn’t get the one pictured in picture on Amazon.  I think it may have said there are variations of the necklace??  The necklace we got was a heart with a 3 inside it.  It really was perfect and fit perfectly on her!  The box it comes in is very cute, too!)

LeapFrog My Own Leaptop, Pink

(Hadley got this for her birthday.  She loves toting this around.   I think she may be pretending to be like us on our laptops.  🙂   Mason has enjoyed playing with this laptop too! )

LeapFrog My Own Leaptop, Green

VTech Little Apps Tablet, Pink

(Hadley got one of these too, she hasn’t had a chance to play with it too much yet.  I am sure she will enjoy it.)

Learning Resources Pretend & Play Doctor Set, 19 Pieces, Blue

(We did purchase this set.  Hadley likes to play doctor.  She especially likes playing with the stethoscope! She had a stethoscope that came with one of her babies, I think, but it fell apart very quickly.  This set looks like it will provide a lot of special doctor sessions probably with her babies–and her family members.  Update:  Hadley and Mason love playing with this set.  The case has room to add more doctor stuff to it, too!)

Oh what fun!!

Talkie by Toymail: Bitsy a Bat, The safe & smart toy to voice message with kids, As seen on Shark Tank

(We did purchase this.  Hadley is with us a couple days a week.  I set it up at our house, but it has to be set up at the house she is at when you are trying to communicate with her.  We are wanting to be able to message her back and forth when she is not with us–when she’s with her mom or other grandma.  I’m waiting for her mom to get it set up at her house.  Hopefully she will get it set up soon!! )

Kids Insulated Lunch Bag Toddler Backpack for Boys Girls (Giraffemouth-yellow)

(This is something Hadley picked out when she was looking at toys with me online.  It is really cute.  It can be a

backpack or lunch bag.  It is not very big for a backpack, but it will fit a good bit of stuff in it.  I have never actually seen a backpack lunch bag before.  It also has a leash on it, so you can give your child a little freedom if you are out walkinng with them.  I haven’t really used a leash with Hadley yet although there have probably been times when I may have wish that I had one. )

3 Year Olds are so much fun!

Melissa & Doug Lace & Trace Pets (3782)

( I think Hadley needs some of the lace and trace pets, but haven’t gotten them yet.)

Melissa & Doug Beginner Wooden Pattern Blocks Educational Toy With 5 Double-Sided Scenes and 30 Shapes

(We will probably get these soon for homeschool.)

Educational Insights GeoSafari Jr. Kidnoculars

(This will probably be for Christmas too.  My husband is a private investigator.  He, of course, uses binoculars.  I think he and Hadley would enjoy playing with their binoculars together!)

I can’t believe Hadley is THREE!

Play-Doh Shape and Learn Colors and Shapes

(Hadley got this from her Aunt Courtney, Uncle Chris and Mason for her birthday!  It is a very cute set.  It has Play-Doh cutters for different shapes.  The cutters are two sided–one side is larger and the other smaller.  They come with a mat with shapes on it that they can put their shape cutouts on after cutting them.  The cutters are the same color as the pictures of the corresponding shape on the mat.  This really is a very thought-out educational toy!  The other mat has shape patterns for the children to follow.  One hint, though!  Hadley wanted to combine the colors together.  Ugh!  That was a little sad to me, but I’m believing she will soon not want to mix the colors up.  Please comment below if you have experienced this ahead of me and when it will be important to her not to mix colors.  🙂  )

Olivet Kids 3-Piece Slumber Set (Tent, Sleeping Bag, and Duffel), Fox

(Our friends, Mark and Marilyn, gave this to Hadley!  She loves it.  My husband and I have both already been in the tent playing with Hadley.  It is a very cute set.  The Duffel is big.  It will hold a lot of stuff!)
