List of Things to Do Today
Can you believe today is Christmas Eve? This year has gone by so fast for me. How about you? It is almost time for Santa Claus to come. Are you ready? My kids and grandkids are coming to celebrate tomorrow. I can’t wait to see all of them. My granddaughter was 2 in August and my grandson is 7 1/2 months old–his first Christmas! My granddaughter has been learning about Santa Claus this year and she knows that Santa brings toys. I can’t wait to hear her Christmas stories and see both grandchildren experience Christmas tomorrow with the rest of our family. 🙂 Here is a list of what I have to do still today and I imagine that yours is similar.
- Check all of my lists to see if everything is done. If not, make a final list for today. We better hurry, though. We are running out of time. Most stores close by 6 pm–or maybe before.
- Make sure I have all groceries needed for dinner and everything tomorrow. (The stores won’t be open to pick up things forgotten.)
- Did I remember gifts for everyone that I wanted to give a gift to? If not, get last minute gifts or maybe bake something.
- Wrap presents. (If you have bought gifts for children, does anything need to be put together ahead of time? Do any of the toys need batteries?)
- Get ingredients together for dinner tomorrow and prepare what can be prepared ahead of time.
- Go to church Christmas Eve Service (I go to Cathedral. You can watch their 4 pm service on livestream if you click here.)
- Spend time with my husband. (Kids are coming to celebrate Christmas tomorrow.)
- Don’t forget that JESUS is the REASON for the season!! Happy Birthday, Jesus!!
